As part of WCHS's celebration of the 250th anniversary of our nation, Michael Bailey, President of the Historic Rolesville (NC) Society, will discuss archaeological evidence and artifacts from early Wake County's history. He will feature colonial period artifacts from the Tom's Creek area and the Granite Falls picnic site in the vicinity of Rolesville, NC.

Mark your calendar for the Annual Meeting at 7 PM on June 1. Mary Ruffin Hanbury and Ian F. G. Dunn will discuss their new book, Lost Raleigh: Exploring the Oak City's Architectural History, to be published by UNC Press on May 15, 2026.
