Jack Johnson, “Prize Fighter”:  Heavyweight Champion of the World

Jack Johnson, heavy-weight champion prize fighter, met an untimely demise in an auto crash in Raleigh, NC in 1946. Hear the story of his notorious life, his times, and his tragic death from Earl Ijames, Curator of African-American history and Curation at the N C Museum of History in Raleigh. This will be an online event via Zoom. No refunds on ticket purchases unless we must cancel the event. Tickets are $5 for member and $10 for non-members.
