The WCHS will take you in a small luxury coach for a day-long tour of historic Edenton, NC. You will see private homes not open to the public as well as receive a town tour narrated by Reid Thomas of the Eastern Office of State Historic Preservation. Lunch (at your own expense) will be at the Edenton Bay Oyster Bar Restaurant. Breakfast biscuits will be offered on the way to Edenton (bring you own coffee!), and we will enjoy happy hour on the drive back to Raleigh.
Tour highlights will include Mulberry Hill, a private residence, the oldest house in North Carolina built in 1719, and Beverly Hall.

Location: Bus will depart from the Costco parking lot at 3828 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh promptly at 7:45 am. Meet in the southwest corner of the lot.
Return will be by 5:30 pm.
