WCHS Gives First Mini Grant to Wendell Historical Society 2026

Wendell Historical Society Members attended the Wake County Historical Society’s Annual Meeting on June 1 to accept its first mini grant. Wendell will spend the funds to purchase a portable booth, banners and outreach materials to increase its exposure in the region. This is intended for Wendell's Harvest Festival and Wendell's participation in America 250 events.

The Wake County Historical Society will make mini grants for historical projects in Wake County each spring. Grants open again in February, 2027.
